B3 Principle 

3 Important Words…Belong Believe Become

Stage 1 Belong

We aim to reach two types of students at 4Twelve SM

  1. Those who are not yet believers but are seeking
  2. Those who are but are not plugged into a church

Students desire to have a place of belonging.  They just want to be accepted. We strive to create an environment where students feel they are accepted and that church is where they BELONG!

What do we focus on under Belonging?

  1. Acceptance(By God and the Church Body)
  2. Grace of God
  3. Identity in Christ
  4. Salvation
  5. Complacency
  6. Authority Issues (Home/School/Activities)
  7. Baptism

 

How do we accomplish Belonging?

  1. Wednesday Night’s “The Gate” Senior High
  2. Sunday Night’s “The Edge” Junior High
  3. Fusion Groups, Sunday Morning Fusion

Stage 2 Believe

John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

It means that after students feel like they belong and are welcome they are more receptive to hear and accept the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

  4. Continued Discipleship/Mentoring

How do we accomplish Become?
