Day Seventeen | October 10
Power!
“...His incomparably great power for us who believe...” —Ephesians 1:19-20
We live in a world obsessed with power—political power, financial power, social influence. But Paul reminds us that the greatest power is not something we seize; it’s something we receive.
This power raised Christ from the dead. It breaks chains, heals brokenness, and strengthens the weary. It’s not just available to super-Christians—it’s for us who believe.
So why don’t more believers walk in that power? Because spiritual power isn’t automatic. It’s accessed by faith, fueled by prayer, and ignited by obedience. The Bible says the same Spirit that raised Jesus lives in us (Romans 8:11). That truth should shake us awake.
Think of it: God has placed resurrection-level power within ordinary people like you and me. What would change if we actually lived like that was true?
Reflection Question:
Is there a truth in Scripture you’ve read but not yet allowed to change your life?
Prayer Focus:
Pray that Gateway would live in God’s power by putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18). Ask for a renewed love for Scripture and boldness to stand in His strength.
